I think it would be simplest to put all your bracelet's photos on the first topic. Simplest to add a photo and simplest for everyone to see your work If you understand me...

It probably makes easier to find the photos, but when the first post has very many large pictures it takes forever to load (at least for those who have slower internet connections).

Hmm, it is possible to do either of those two:
1) Use linked thumbnails! The pic shown in your gallery is only the small one (thumbnail). If you click on it, you can see the "real" picture.
2) Limit the number of pics per page to 20 (or probably 50 thumbnails). This should speed up the loading process.
3) A combination of the two: Use thumbnails only (or a link to your photo-hosting-account wherever if you have an extensive gallery). Show off only your latest works in full size (maybe 5 pics).

If someone has a new topic that's fine but to always go back to the first page I hate that. I have twice started my pic gallery and will include all previous pics on the first page but it is indeed really slow. I add them as I go because that is how I like them. Everyone is different and so are their threads.What one person thinks is great another might not.

I like Olympe's idea, of making thumbnails in the first post.

Thumbnails are given to you by some sites when you host pictures. Instead of posting the full size picture, you post the thumbnail and it links to the full picture. Make sense?
