I was in class the other day and I looked over and saw this girl named Sydney, who had a pen that had embroidery thread tied and woven to spell her name on the pen and she said that she could remove it if she ever wanted to. And I was wondering if anyone here has ever tried it? or has any instructions on how to do it?

I would assume that someone just made a round name bracelet. There are pictures of other round patterns but I can't recall ever seeing a name one. That would be a cool thing to do though.

I have an old DMC leaflet on friendship pens. I tried to find an online tutorial, but didn't have any luck. I'll see if I can scan the leaflet for you--it may take me a little time, since we recently got a new printer/scanner and I haven't used the scanner before...

This is the biggest image size I can manage, but the print is still pretty tiny. If you need help reading any of the instructions, just let me know and I'll type them out for you.

Is this the same way people make name bracelets except that the name bracelets are around a piece of plastic? Because I've been wondering for a while how to make those
